They say Pavarotti beat the chorus every time, and just like a world-class tenor, in this city bursting with Italian restaurants Da Marco stands out from the ordinary. Marco Wiles gets every detail just right with his authentic cuisine that includes sublime Chianti-braised short ribs, the pork shanks with polenta, and margherita pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven that would satisfy even the most ardent gastro-Italophile. Housed in a cheerfully converted Montrose house, people either love the charm or bemoan the cramped corners and close-together tables. Honestly, Marco Wiles could start serving from a taco truck and we'd still stand in line.
