THE LOWDOWN

Houston Center for Photography is the only space in the South and Southwest with full-time staff and year-round programs dedicated to photography and related media arts. With no permanent collection, HCP offers rotating exhibits, mostly by local Houston and Texas talent, as well as over 250 workshops, classes and master classes per year, a reference library and a digital darkroom—nine state-of-the-art Mac workstations.
