In the mood for a concert or a rousing game of hoops?  Check out Houston’s award winning venue, the Toyota Center, which plays host to the Rockets and the Aeros during the seasons and has a packed schedule of traveling entertainers booked for the rest of the year.  The huge arena spans an area of six city blocks, making it one of the largest playing surfaces in the nation.  The spacious corridors provide panoramic views through large open windows and once you find your row, don’t be surprised when you settle into the most comfortable stadium seating you have ever experienced.  If you are not into hockey or basketball, check out huge concert tours like Janet Jackson, Nine Inch Nails, or Coldplay in the off-season. Music and sports are not all the arena has to offer as its lineup also features WWE Smackdown and famed comics performing stand up. When you make your way out on the town, there are nearby options for your after-party including Discovery Green and several downtown bars and restaurants where you can find a little libation.
