METRO FAIL

Now with video: Metro bus collides with Metro Rail downtown

February 8th, 2010 at 4:35 PM

A Metro bus collided with the Metro rail at the corner of Main Street and St. Joseph Parkway, sending the rail off its track, reports FOX local news.

A CultureMapper coincidentally on the scene reports that the bus ran a red light. The exact number of injuries have not been confirmed, but at least nine people, including a driver, have been sent to the hospital. No life-threatening injuries have been reported.

Another dose of irony? The crash ocurred directly outside of Metro headquarters.
